I certainly agree with some of what you are saying, and am by no means justifying the heavy water use and misuse by factory farms. Have you read any other posts in this blog? The fact is, humans are using a huge amount of the water in this part of the world, and drought makes the stresses caused by human use worse for the natural environment as well. I'm confused as to what part of this post implies I want humans to continue to wastefully use water. However, we will always 'use' water as long as our species exists, since we need to drink the stuff if nothing else.

I don't understand where you get the idea that no one helps provide water for poorer people, but certainly more should be done. What makes you think that water, as a ...Charles,... What makes you think that water, as a resource, must be 'used' at all...? after all, it is because of our greed that 99% of all available fresh water is used for agriculture, and of that, 90% on Factory Farms.. (chemistry added @ no additional costs to drinkers of water..)
No one EVER says that an African, or, an Afghanni village should have a well drilled for free so that they will have water to drink, let alone water their food crops... Who do you work for again..?
Water and money do not belong together.. Just ask the people of New Jersey.. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
